This chapter begins with Fedora and Phante apologizing to Yeon-Woo after their formal meeting with the Martial King. During the meeting, Jang, Fedora’s half-brother, questions the skill of Yeon-Woo. Thus, Martial King allowed Jang to test Yeon-Woo’s ability before he could join the battle along with One-horn tribesmen. Jang underestimates the power of a mere human until Yeon-Woo grabbed his head and smashed it to the floor in a flash. After seeing that, Martial King laugh out loud. Jang was determined to beat Yeon-Woo using a sword dance art but Yeon-Woo managed to punch Jang 's stomach. Yeon-Woo easily proved his skill to all of the audience without putting much effort.

Martial King declare that as a part of the One-horn tribe, Yeon-Woo or Cain the Hoarder will join them in the battle. Yeon-Woo was looking for Martial King after the fight, and asks him how he learned about the Arang group incident. Martial King told him that he heard the news from the psychics of their clans. But he also warned Yeon-Woo that there was another person who knew about the incident, other than him. He was All For One. All For One has the ability called clairvoyance, which enable its user to see everything that occurs in the tower. Yeon-Woo’s twin brother has mysteriously disappeared 5 years ago. One day, he found a vintage pocket watch belongs to his brother – the one that he had given him before his university entrance exam. Unexpectedly, there’s a hidden diary inside, containing his brother’s recorded message “By the time you heard this, I guess I have already dead…” 

The diary reveals everything that Yeon-Woo needs to know, from the Obelisk – the Tower of the Sun God and its several dimensions and universes. Yeon-Woo realized that his brother had become a victim of betrayal during his journey to climb up the tower. Knowing this, Yeon-Woo decided to follow his brother’s steps and using his brother’s diary as guidance.
